What do Wilshere, Arshavin, and Podolski all have in common, apart from being Arsenal players?

The answer is that they are all turn up in a VIP virtual party experience in which you can meet, interact and (as they say) “hang out” with the guys.

Of course there are some other people there too, but they are not Arsenal, so we won’t mention them.  You can just interact with the Arsenal guys.

It all happens via an app which pulls the users’ personal profile pictures into the narrative, featuring them throughout the video, making the experience unique.

The personalised functionality includes casting the user as a Remix DJ, whose exclusive VIP party experience comes to life to Calvin’s hit single ‘Let’s Go feat. Ne-Yo’, but if that is not your style, you can just stay with the players.

It is all done by Pepsi, in a Facebook app as they launch their latest digital addition to the 2012 ‘Kick in the Mix’ campaign, a Facebook application, which sees the world of music and football together.

Pepsi’s Facebook app will be available in over 35 countries.  I know Untold reaches more than this, but unfortunately I don’t have the direct ear of Pepsi’s CEO so I can’t do anything about it.  I have asked about the reach in Tierra del Fuego but there’s no answer on that one yet.

Actually speaking of having someone’s ear, I don’t really have the ear of anyone important, so I can’t do much at all about anything, but if you want to view the Pepsi Facebook app just click.   You don’t need anyone’s ear apart from your own.

Did I mention that Jack, Arshavin and Podolski are there?
