As is quite obvious this is not an official or endorsed site of either Arsenal FC, nor Emirates Airlines. It is just a place where Arsenal fans comment on all matters football. If you are looking for the official Arsenal site click here. But if you want to read articles on Arsenal that simply do not appear anywhere else, welcome to the WengerDrome Why the WengerDrome? We first came up with the name before the stadium opened – sometime around the Charlton home game in the 2005/6 season, when pictures were widely available of the new stadium. At first no one really noticed the name, but since the 2006/7 began and we actually got inside we noticed other people using the word as an appropriate name for the stadium. We think it’s a hell of a lot better than any other name, so that’s what we call it. The Arsenal (the club for Arsenal supporters) has 185,000 paid up members – making it the largest supporters club in the world. This site is dedicated to each and every one of these members. |
