1: The Training Ground Obvious and well documented, Mr Wenger had the training facilities for Arsenal totally changed – they were the first thing he changed and now represent the ultimate in training facility. Players leaving Arsenal are invariably shocked at the facilities they took to be the norm are not available elsewhere. Arsenal training facilities are still massively better than anything else in the Premiership – even the newly developed training ground for Chelsea (replacing their playing fields under the Heathrow take off zone) is just a shadow in comparison – being planned and developed prior to the influx of Russian oil money.
